Bellaire Middle / High School Bulletin for Thursday, December 14, 2017

SOPHOMORES: Reminder that class rings will be delivered Friday, December 15th, during your lunch time. You must pay remainder at that time to receive your ring.


ATTENTION SENIORS: The yearbook staff needs your senior photo submitted by April 1, 2018, but the sooner the better! If you have a digital copy, email it to Mrs. Johnson at njohnson@bellairek12.org. If you do not have a digital copy, please submit a hard copy to be scanned.


HIGH SCHOOL: Attention BHS students! Our 2017 Christmas Workshops are right around the corner, so make sure you sign up by the High School Office, by the end of the week to guarantee your spot. The choices this year are-blanket making and wrapping, ornament making, holiday rock painting and dog toy making. All of these options will not only be fun, but they will be given back to our Community.

CTC Students must see Mrs. Keiser in the Office to be excused for Workshops.


CTC STUDENTS: There are 2 remaining makeup days for the Semester. This Saturday, December 16th and January 13th. You must sign up in person ahead of time at CTC in the Student services office to attend.


MIDDLE SCHOOL/HIGH SCHOOL: Shanty Creek Resorts is again offering their Honor Roll Options Program. Information and forms can be picked up in the Office. This is for 7th-12th grade students. 6th grade can get the forms after the Semester ends in January and grades come out.


ALL STUDENTS & COMMUNITY The Junior Class is holding a pop can drive to raise funds for their class. If you have any empty pop cans or bottles, please drop them off in Mrs. Youngs room. We will be doing a community door to door pick up on Tuesday, January 2nd. Thank you for supporting the the 2018 Prom


ATHLETICS: Any 9-12 grade girls' interested in playing softball this spring there will be a brief meeting in the commons during enhancement on Dec. 20.


MIDDLE SCHOOL: BYI has winter clubs starting soon. Snow shoeing which starts Monday, December 18th. Also for the 1st 10 students to sign up there will be a Ski Club that will begin January 7th. Forms can be picked up in the High School Office.


STUDENTS AND COMMUNITY: Student Council is asking for donations of new or used t-shirts for the making of dog toys for Christmas workshops on the 19th.


STUDENTS & COMMUNITY: Middle School Winter Band concert will be Thursday, December 14th at 7pm, public welcome.


Toys for Tots Edward Jones is once again supporting the the Toys for Tots campaign by using the downtown Bellaire office as a drop-off location. Help needy children in our area by bringing a new, unwrapped toy to the Bellaire office during regular business hours. With the holiday season just around the corner, now is a great time to remember those who are less fortunate in our community. Deadline is Dec. 15.
